Volunteer Fundraiser for International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals (IAPWA)
Join team IAPWA and help to create a better future for Animals.
Role of Volunteer Fundraiser
Fundraising is an essential part of the charity’s strategy; it is what allows the projects to continue.
IAPWA is run by a very small team of staff and volunteers, but we have big plans for project development. In order to achieve these goals, we ultimately need to raise more funds, by increasing our number of Volunteer Fundraisers.
The objective of this role is to help IAPWA raise funds by holding fundraising events, both online and in person within your community (covid restrictions allowing).
There are many ways to fundraise, and what you choose to do will depend on your own preferences and locality.
This may be holding a regular car boot or workplace cake sale, or it could be by holding bucket collections at local stores, or even a monthly book club, for example.
The role of the Volunteer Fundraiser is to aim to hold 4 – 8 fundraising activities per year, and these can be any size event.
The role is new and there is much flexibility for how you choose to fundraise, so long as it is appropriate and within IAPWA guidelines.
You will be supported by the Community Fundraising Manager, who will provide you with fundraising information packs, IAPWA marketing materials and anything else you may need to promote your activities.
