In Conversation: Eat to Lower Cancer Risk

Do you live to eat? Now you can eat to live better!

Beyond deriving pleasure from your meals, make the food work harder by potentially keeping cancer at bay.

Lifestyle, which includes diet, has been proven to contribute to high rates of The Big C in Singapore.

Take a deep dive with nutritionists Meenu and Fiona in this session of In Conversation as we understand more about most common cancers found locally and how the answer to lowering cancer risk can be found in your kitchen.

About Fiona Chia:

Fiona is recognised by the Health Promotion Board as an Accredited Workplace Health Consultant. With more than a decade’s experience in food and nutrition, she founded nutrition consultancy Health Can Be Fun to inspire healthy living.

About Meenu Chandrasekaran:

Meenu is an advocate for plant-based diets and does community outreach to spread the word on healthier lifestyles. Outside of work, she can be found whipping up vegan versions of local favourites such as chicken rice.
